dMAT 2026 dates, deadlines and what it costs.
The first dMAT cycle runs from June to October 2026. Registration is the deadline that actually bites — the test date is fixed, so a missed registration means waiting for the next cycle.

02Planning backwards
Where the dMAT sits in your APS timeline.
Results arrive from 12 October 2026, and the certificate then goes into your APS file. Work backwards from the university deadlines you are targeting for summer semester 2027 and later — if a programme closes applications before your certificate is issued, the cycle you register for matters as much as the score.
Because the dMAT tests reasoning rather than syllabus knowledge, preparation time is measured in weeks of short timed sets, not months of study. Twenty minutes a day of timed practice is worth more than one long session a week.
