Privacy policy: we do not want your data.

dmatgrid (dmatgrid.com) is a free, independent dMAT preparation website run by students who have taken the dMAT. It is not affiliated with g.a.s.t., APS India, the DAAD or any university.

Your mock test results are saved in your own browser's local storage so you can see your progress. They are never sent to us. The keys used are dmatgrid.*.history.v1, plus dmatgrid_welcome_seen to remember that you closed the welcome pop-up and dmatgrid:counted (session storage) so a visit is only counted once.

If you install the site as an app, a service worker caches pages so practice works offline. You can clear all of this at any time from your browser settings.

We keep a few anonymous numbers, none of which identify you:

• A visitor total — one number, increased by one per browser session.
• WhatsApp channel clicks — which button on the site was clicked and on which day. No IP address or device details are stored with it.
• Vercel Web Analytics — page views, referrer, country and device type, collected without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

The counts are stored with Upstash (Redis). Daily click counts are deleted after 120 days.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against abuse, and keeps short-lived server logs. We do not use these logs to identify anyone.

• We do not sell, rent or share personal data — we do not collect any.
• We do not run advertising trackers or Facebook/Google ad pixels.
• We do not set cookies. See the cookie policy.

The site links to WhatsApp, Instagram, d-mat.de and aps-india.de. When you follow those links, that service's own privacy policy applies. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we only use your details to reply to you.

dmatgrid is meant for university graduates preparing for master's admission. It is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, export or delete on our side — your scores live only in your browser. If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
