Lesen and Schreiben, timed like the real exam.
The clock starts as soon as you press start. Each module is handed in automatically when its time runs out, as in the exam room — you can move freely between its Teile until then. No dictionary, no translator.
01Format
The same five Teile as the exam paper.
Each module gives 15 raw points, which count for 25 of the exam's 100. You pass with 60 overall, so aim for at least 9 of 15 in each module. Schreiben Teil 2 is marked by an examiner in the real exam; here you mark it yourself against a model answer on the same 3 / 1.5 / 0 scale per point.

Two short messages — an email, a text message. Five statements: richtig or falsch.

Five situations, each with two ads or web pages. Pick the one that helps: a or b.
Lesen · Teil 3
Five signs and notices — on a door, at a station, in a shop. One statement each: richtig or falsch.
Schreiben · Teil 1
Read a short text about someone and fill five gaps in a form for them. One point per gap.
Schreiben · Teil 2
Write a message of about 30 words that covers three given points, with a greeting and sign-off.

02How to score well
Four habits for Lesen and Schreiben.
Read the statement first
In Lesen, read items before the text and look for the few words that decide them. You do not need to understand every word — A1 texts are built so that you do not.
Watch for nicht, kein and sondern
Most richtig/falsch traps turn on one small word: "nicht in Raum 12, sondern in Raum 3", "Sonntag geschlossen". Underline them in your head.
Copy exactly in the form
Schreiben Teil 1 answers are in the text. Copy names, numbers and places exactly as they are written there; write dates as 14.03.1999.
One sentence per point beats a long text
In Teil 2, each of the three points is worth 3 of the 10 marks. Cover all three, even briefly, then add Anrede and Gruß for the last mark.
